"During the day, Sahin Danaci, a 34-year-old Agile Coach, transforms executives and large corporations, delivering keynotes at universities and companies. At night, amidst the radiant glow of the floodlights illuminating the artificial turf in Oerlikon, he mentors FC Insieme Zurich. Eight months ago, Sahin assumed his role as coach, embarking on a journey of neurodiversity.Encountering a group of youth with diverse neurological diagnoses, Sahin witnessed their resignation, misunderstanding, and the imposition of basic life constraints. He intervened as a champion of enlightenment, breaking the chains of ignorance laid by society and predecessors. Despite their challenging socio-economic backgrounds and independent struggles, Sahin recognized untapped potential. With his adept strategy, motivational prowess, and empathetic leadership, Sahin not only secured three trophies with FC Insieme Zurich but also garnered the affection and loyalty of his players, affectionately dubbed "Maestro" by them. Sahin molded this diverse group into a cohesive unit, fostering mutual support, sporting excellence, and fearless confrontation of prejudice.Under Sahin's guidance, FC Insieme not only dominated an Eastern Swiss tournament with an impressive tally of 40 goals and 4 conceded but also clinched the prestigious Swiss Special Olympics, remaining undefeated with only 2 goals against. This triumph underscores the ambitions of individuals with neurodiverse characteristics. Football serves as their arena of aspiration, epitomizing the motto: Citius, Altius, Fortius – faster, higher, stronger. United under Sahin's leadership, the "non-normal" strive for excellence."This video was created and edited by the players of the team.#football #neurodiversity #inclusion #diversity #youth #society #coaching #why #sports #success #sharing #inspire #aspire #ambition #zurich #team #insieme

When I'm watching my favourite sport on TV, I often find myself focusing on the wins and losses, and what maneuvers the players could've pulled to score better or win. That's why, reading this article was a good reminder for me...Sports is a lot more than just the wins and losses! There's so much hard work and team mindset that goes into a game. It can be as much (if not more) of a mind game than just being a physical game about skill, strength, and endurance. In this article, I was happy to see Capgemini put the focus on two of my colleagues, Prashant and Yuta, who also happen to be athletes. They share the life lessons they've learnt on the sports pitch that they've taken into their boardroom pitch, so to speak. 😉Some of these lessons might seem familiar to you, but it always helps to get a reminder, just like it did for me. Check out the article here 👉 https://lnkd.in/eDrGBvg5And let me know in the comments if there are other different lessons you've learnt from sports that didn't get mentioned in the article.#sports #LifeAtCapgemini #GetTheFutureYouWant

Søren Kierkegaard once wrote that "life is lived, going forwards but it is understood, looking backwards." Last week, I was invited to speak at PMI UA Connect’23 and when looking at the topics and the front pages of my presentations during the past three years' Connect'xx, it strikes me how they reflect my life journey.'21 - having deep dived into positive leadership and transformation together with brilliant minds such as Monique Schuurmans, Sanae Tabnaoui, PhD, Marianne Ribert, Prof. dr. Nick van Dam and many more provided the sense of direction'22 - an emotionally turbulent year where I would have hit rock bottom - and stayed there - if it wasn't for Monique Schuurmans, Anastasiia Kuntsevska, Nicolai Krarup, Simone van Trier - Willems and many others re-ignited my sense of #antifragility'23 - based on a distinct feeling of belonging and being Home in Ukraine, finding the courage to present my own original framework on how organisations could build intentional plasticity into their culture. My purpose, my Why if you like, is to use my personal experience of what works and what doesn't to help organisations flourish, to help them avoid the pitfalls and to increase positive impact on people's lives. Building on people's strengths we can build the organisations we want to work in and the society we want to live in - Ukrainians are leading by example!#pmiukraine #standwithukraine #humility #curiosity #authenticity
