True Crime Society - Allie Shehorn was stabbed over 20 times by her ex-boyfriend, actor Nick Pasqual (2024)

Allie Shehorn (35) is a celebrity makeup artist who was stabbed by her ex-boyfriend actor Nick Pasqual.

Allie and Nick first met on the set of a sci-fi movie called Rebel Moon.

Bio from IMDB – When a colony on the edge of the galaxy finds itself threatened by the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius, they dispatch a young woman with a mysterious past to seek out warriors from neighbouring planets to help them take a stand.

In 2023, Allie won “Best SFX Makeup” at the Hollywood Blood Horror Festival for her work on Incorrigible.

In 2022, she won the “Outstanding Achievement Award (Makeup and Hairstyling)” at the IndieX Film Festival for her work on The Last Altruist and in 2018 she won “Best Makeup Short Film” at the Five Continents International Film Festival for makeup in Goodnight, Gracie.

Allie was due to start working on an indie horror film on May 23, 2024 but she did not show up to work. Nick had also been scheduled to be part of the shoot but he was removed from it after Allie filed a restraining order against him. The order was filed earlier in May 2024.

Allie’s friend Tina Vonn spoke to the LATimes about the restraining order.

“Allie did everything the right way. She got a restraining order,” Tina said.

In the restraining order, Allie alleged that Nick attacked her in the home they shared, prior to May 23, 2024.

“He started yelling and screaming at me, which happens when he’s been under the influence,” Allie said.

Allie said in the court document that he slapped her across the face as she was trying to get away from him and pulled her hair from behind and she slammed the back of her head onto the floor. She hid in her roommate’s bedroom, but Nick tried to break down the door and had broken two other doors in the past, according to the court documents.

Allie went on to say that when she unlocked the door he slammed it into her, knocking her to the ground, and repeatedly slammed the door into her head. She also alleged he sexually assaulted her and committed several other instances of physical violence earlier in the year.

The court granted her restraining order request, mandating that Nick stay at least 300 feet away from her, her vehicle, her home, workplace and her pet Husky.

When Allie did not show up to the shoot, her colleagues thought she may have gotten lost on her way out to the California desert.

At 4.30am on May 23, Nick Pasqual, her ex, broke into her home and attacked her with a knife. Nick stabbed her over 20 times – Allie suffered slashes to her neck and was cut on her arms and abdomen.

One of Allie’s friends, Christine White found her laying in a pool of blood. “I just told her to keep her hand on her throat to stop the bleeding,” Christine said.

Allie underwent emergency surgery and she was in the ICU for many days after the attack.

A fellow makeup artist named Jed Dornoff has spoken about Allie’s injuries.

“I’m sad that all of this happened… He cut her hands and tendons,” Jed said about the injuries that could possibly hinder her ability to work as an artist. “Who does that?”

Christine has said that Allie is determined to regain her ability to partake in her hobbies, including painting.

“She said that even if she couldn’t paint, she would paint with her brush in her mouth,” Christine said. “That’s how resilient she is. She’s just so amazing.”

Nick fled the scene. He was stopped while trying to enter Mexico, at a border checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas.

Nick will be extradited to Los Angeles, where he faces charges of attempted murder, first-degree residential burglary with person present and one count of injuring a spouse, cohabitant, fiancé, boyfriend, girlfriend or child’s parent. An arrest warrant was issued and the court imposed a $1.07-million bond for his release, according to court records.

“My thoughts and heartfelt sympathies are with the victim in this horrific incident,” District Attorney George Gascón said. “Our office, including our Bureau of Victim Services, extends our support and resources to her as she embarks on the long and difficult journey of healing from both the physical and emotional trauma inflicted upon her. This heinous incident is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence. We will ensure that the individual responsible for this egregious act is held accountable for their actions.”
